Assistant Manager – Credit & Marketing

Key Responsibilities:
• To achieve set targets on auto finance products (Four wheeler leasing/loans/auto-drafts) within the credit guidelines.
• Conduct credit assessment within company risk appetite.
• Maintain desired collection ratio.
• Maintaining and making strong relationships with business partners and business introducers in the assigned area.
• Planning and implementing new strategies to attract new customers.
• Maintain operational controls and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of marketing, credit evaluation and portfolio management of auto finance products with at least 3 years of experience in the executive grade or above.
- Full/ part professional qualification in a related area or a degree from a recognized university/ institute though not essential but will be an added advantage.
- Reasonable knowledge in regulatory framework in the area.
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and PR skills.
- Candidate should possess a valid riding/ driving license.
- Sound knowledge in MS Office applications.
Company Secretary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Arrange all management/general meetings and preparation of agendas, recording minutes and such minutes of the Board meetings shall be recorded in sufficient details so that it is possible to ascertain whether the Board acted with due care and prudence in performing its duties.
• Preparation of meeting minutes and agenda in the event chairperson has delegated carrying out such function & provide support and liaising with Board of Directors and other board sub committees.
• Ensure compliance to all applicable laws and regulations, especially the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and corporate governance practices & monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and taking appropriate action.
• Maintaining all relevant documentations pertaining to legal and statutory requirements of the company
• Liaise with external regulators and advisors: Stock exchange, CBSL, Registrar General of Companies
• Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors, secretaries and shareholders
• Advise and guide management on the statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
Requirements:
- An Attorney at Law/ member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka/ Association of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Sri Lanka/ Chartered Institute of Management Accountants or person who is member of an Association or Institute approved by the Minister, which provides a course in Company Law or Company Secretarial Practice
- Should have minimum 5 years of post – qualification company secretarial work experience.
- Sound knowledge of Companies Act, Central Bank regulations for Finance Companies and other relevant statues and regulations.

Head of Gold Loan
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Should be able to handle all the branch level activities ensuring business growth.
• Systematic planning and developing promotional activities to enhance the business.
• Training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance and make developments.
• Monitoring delinquency level acceptable to management conducting regular auctions.
• Guiding, motivating team members in achieving their set target and goals.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Should possess sound knowledge of theoretical and practice skills in pawning based lending and basic skills in sales and marketing.
- The ideal candidate should be graduates or possess equivalent professional qualifications and minimum of more than eight years' experience in pawning /gold loans in a financial institution with specific training and a thorough knowledge of the subject.
Gold Loan in Charge (Gampaha)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Advancing within the approved limits set out in the standardized procedure guidelines.
• Checking gold articles, doing valuation and assessment of articles, and negotiating with customers regarding advances under the given guidelines.
• Ensuring adherence to all operational processes and guidelines in relation to Gold Financing.
• Planning smooth functioning of Gold Loan business and developing promotional activities to enhance the business.
• Monitoring Gold Loan performance and make required arrangements to increase the advances of growth and portfolio.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- GCE (A/L) qualification.
- Possess minimum of 2-3 years of pawning/gold loan experience in a recognized financial environment.
- Ability to identify Fake or Dud Jewelry.
- Knowledge on evaluation of gold content in gold articles.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Age - between 25-35 years.
Manager – Savings
Key Responsibilities
• Ability to assess market opportunities on savings product.
• Building up mutually benefited partnerships with individuals, institutions, and corporate customers in sourcing business.
• Ensure fresh / revised policies relating to the product are prepared and ratified through audits and board sub-committees during regular reviews and make necessary corrections. Staff training on policies / corrective action is also part of this role to ensure compliance and risk management.
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance in relation to regulatory / internal policy / accepted norms.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience primarily in savings in NBFI / Bank sector, out of which at least 02 years in the managerial grade. Prior experience in sourcing savings product through a branch network, and reasonable knowledge of operating a department as a profit center are definite advantages.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory / compliance is required.
- Possession of a degree and / or full / part professional qualification in related discipline. Possession of an MBA, though not essential but will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and provide leadership to a team.
Senior Executive/ Executive – Risk
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the business units in assessing their risks, review/update business unit risk profile and related documentation.
• Assist to implement risk management policies and procedures as per the statutory requirements of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and other regulatory authorities with the recommendation/approval of the Board Integrated Risk Management Committee (BRIMC).
• Assist to conduct risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks.
• Assist to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies based on assessment findings.
• Assist in establishing mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of identified risks and reporting to BIRMC periodically.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the banking / financial services sector in a similar capacity preferably in Risk Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Statistics/MIS/Business Analytics or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Executive – Risk and Compliance
Key Responsibilities
• To assist in the compliance process with attention to provisions of the Finance Business Act no 42 of
2011, Directions / Guidelines and Rules issued by the CBSL to ensure compliance.
• To assist in the Compliance process related to Listing rules of the CSE.
• Coordinate with the Board of Directors, Company secretaries & Senior management on any matters
related to Risk & Compliance.
• Compile relevant information for the implementation of AML/CFT policies and procedures to ensure the
regulatory requirements are met.
• Assist the Compliance officer to Identify material, individual, aggregate, and emerging risks (both
quantitative and qualitative) and to assess risks by measuring the company’s exposure to them.
• Analyze Company Data and assist in preparing reports & resolutions to the Board / Board Sub Committee
and Management Committee Meetings on matters related to Risk & Compliance.
Requirements:
- Should possess a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Finance institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, and Full or part professional qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA or CFA.
- Excellent knowledge of advanced MS Excel.
- Good analytical and number-crunching skills.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- The ability to work independently under minimum supervision and be a team player.
Cashier
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handling the cashier function and petty cash payments.
• Ensure that the cash collection in duly balance and proper banking of daily cash payments.
• Duly maintain allocated floats and daily reconciliations .
• Serve the customers without delays.
• Physical verification of cash on daily basis.
• Maintaining periodic transaction reports.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed G.C.E Advanced Level Examination.
- Should have a minimum 02 years of experience in a similar capacity. (Preferable in a Finance Company)
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Ability to converse in English and Sinhala / Tamil language.
- Good knowledge in MS Office, IT application and exposure to use accounting software will be an add advantage.
